Summer NUAP stuff to attend :)

Certainly I will be mentioning these at our retreat (I can't wait!) but here's a save the date pre-info spot: the Northern Utah Alumnae Panhellenic is having a fundraiser open to all Greek Alum. women and their significants plus any other couples you know who would like to enjoy a delightful evening: its a Wine & Cheese Party. It is scheduled for Sunday the 17th of June, I believe in the afternoon late, but I will check on time. It is to raise money for the scholarship that NUAP awards in August for an incoming freshman who will rush at the U of U. NUAP will provide a buffet, guests bring a bottle of wine and pay 10$ a couple corkage fee. It will be at the home of Alexa DuBois located inthe upper Aves above the Capital Rotunda. Amazing view.

The next event is a BBQ in Park City at another NUAP member's home. This will be on Saturday August 11th, and will be potluck style. A great opportunity to meet Greek Women from varying NPC sororities from all over the country. This will be at about 4p, and at the lovely home of Lois Mastin on the edge of Jordenelle Res.

Hope to talk to everyone very soon- Violets, Jami Lynn

Its May Already

Hi Sigmas~
I cannot believe its May already...I think I need to underatand exactly what kind of posts we are intending here? Initially I thought it was a "lets keep eachother informed" but maybe its Sigma info exclusive?

I am really excited about this blog...it will help me so much understand what is going on so I can feel up to date when we actually meet. And this retreat is going to be fun-we can bring wine, right? :)

Well, what is up with me is that my sister is pregnant-with twins-IVF...its really hard for me. I feel pretty left out, not to mention I am now the only Sigma without kids from ZI. Ouch. I have to believe that God has a bigger plan, but it is still hard.

That being said, Springis here and my spirits are up agian! I think I have SAD (seasonal Affected Disorder) although its never been diagnosed...hey, anyone have a great light bulb I can use this winter??

Welcome!

Ok, trying again! I posted earlier, but somehow, it disappeared!

Welcome to our new blog - I hope this will be a good source of information for you.

We had our annual Founder's Day celebration last Saturday at Julie's house - it was a lot of fun! We had a tasty lunch (spring garden fettucinni) and good conversation. Jami Lynn and Rebecka filled us in on their trip to Denver, and we made some plans concerning the future of the chapter.

That said, we have scheduled a chapter retreat for June 8 and 9 at Jamie's condo. We will meet Friday June 8 at 7:00 pm at the condo and have a fun and relaxing evening. Then on Saturday June 9th at 10:00 we have scheduled a business meeting. Please try to attend the entire retreat, but if you can't, please come to the business meeting on Saturday. We have lots to discuss and we need everyone's participation!

I've added a box to the right that shows our current events. Feel free to add to anything here, or if you'd rather I did it, shoot me an email and I'll update it for you! SLaM!
